Acceptable evidence of funds for Short Term Guarantee

Funds are to be held in Australia or New Zealand and evidenced in Australian or New Zealand dollars.

Savings: Provide a bank statement showing the applicant's name, the account number, the balance available, the date and the financial institution's logo. Internet statements are acceptable provided they have the above information.

Share statements: Provide the issuer holding statement.

Superannuation payments, private investments: Provide a letter from the fund holder confirming the amount available and the date it will be available on.

Gifts: The donor must be an immediate family member ie. mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister. The donor must provide a statutory declaration confirming their relationship to the applicant and evidence (bank statement, loan approval etc.) that they have the ability to complete the gift.

Divorce settlements: Provide a copy of the stamped family court agreement, along with evidence (sale contract, loan approval) that the payment can be completed.
